ESLA Young Lawyers

The Eastern Solicitors Law Association aims to promote networking and mentoring opportunities to young lawyers throughout their legal careers. ESLA occasionally runs a Connections and Caffeine andan  Annual Young Lawyers Evening to get together to support local businesses within the eastern suburbs that all young lawyers are welcome to attend.

According to the Law Institute Victoria, 'Young Lawyers' include:

• Law students 
• Law graduates 
• Legal practitioners aged under 36 years of age 
• Legal practitioners with less than six years of post-admission experience

To join ESLA as a member, you must also be a member of the Law Institute Victoria (LIV) which includes:

• The LIV provides free membership for undergraduate law students. Please click here to become a LIV student member. 
• The LIV provides a 70% discount on membership for those undergoing SLT or PLT who do not hold a practising certificate. Please click here to become a LIV graduate member.
